Dashain is the longest and the most important festival of Nepal. Generally Dashain falls in late September to mid October, right after the monsoon season in Nepal. Nomination night for Miss Nepal Australia 2008 organized by Party Kathmandu events the leading event organizer in Australia took place at cockle bay wharf with a great success. There was a huge participation of Nepalese youth crowds .Former Miss Nepal Payal shakya was also spotted with her boyfriend Sarun tamrakar (THE UGLYZ) in the event. With the Miss Nepal peagent, dance party was also organized at the venue. Everyone in the venue were enjoying, drinking and dancing.

After a huge success in their previous tour of 2004 famous Nepalese band 1974 AD is back to Australia again with their “ROCK YATRA live in concert” at three major cities of Australiasydney,Melbourne,and Brisbane. The Rock yatra tour has been organized by “Manoranjan internationals pty ltd”.
1974 will start their tour from city of Sydney which will take place at Gaelic club, surry hillson Saturday 4th of October followed by East Brunswick club, Melbourne on Sunday 12th of October while the venue for Brisbane hasn’t been fixed yet. Rock yatra will start in Sydney at 9:00 pm whereas in Melbourne it will start at 7:30 pm.
