Flemington project won the first ever battle of bands 2009 leaving behind other five competitors. The competition was organized by the organizers of miss Nepal Australia 2008 party Kathmandu events organizers at home night club darling harbour and it was yet another successful event organized by party Kathmandu events Pvt ltd

Battle of bands started by performance of the guest band Ahimsa than short speech of NRN Australia president Dhruba subdedi.Mokshya band was the first band to perform on the stage followed by Naya Naam,Parikrama,Flemington project,U-Turn. Party Kathmandu was first introduced as an ‘event’ to Sydneysiders on September 10, 2005 targeting young urban Nepalese and Australian crowds. The event was held at the Metro Theatre, George Street, which featured Dj’s from Australian and Nepalese community. Because of the overwhelming success of the event and the demand for more, Party Kathmandu was eventually registered as Party Kathmandu Events Pty Ltd under the Australian Business Act in August 2006 and have been organising a series of Party Kathmandu events ever since.

Party Kathmandu is going to present “BATTLE OF BANDS 2009″ for the first time in Australia. After grand success of Miss Nepal Australia 2008 Nomination nigh and Miss Nepal Australia 2008 still to come now it’s “Battle of bands” in 2009. Audition date of the compettion has already been released by the organizers where 8 bands are competting to prove them  as the best nepalese band  in australia.

This battle field will provide a big platform for the local Nepalese talent residing here in Australia. It will prove a great opportunity for the talented local bands who always wanted to perform in the stage.

Its an opportunity for talent,passion,dream,devotion,music and performance in 2009 so all the bands in Australia get prepared for the great battle in 2009 .
