Flemington project won the first ever battle of bands 2009 leaving behind other five competitors. The competition was organized by the organizers of miss Nepal Australia 2008 party Kathmandu events organizers at home night club darling harbour and it was yet another successful event organized by party Kathmandu events Pvt ltd

Battle of bands started by performance of the guest band Ahimsa than short speech of NRN Australia president Dhruba subdedi.Mokshya band was the first band to perform on the stage followed by Naya Naam,Parikrama,Flemington project,U-Turn.
