EDUCATION authorities are scrambling to place 300 foreign students in new courses, following the collapse of a private college.
The Melbourne International College had its education licence cancelled by the state Registration and Qualifications Authority, forcing it to cease operation, according to The Australian. It is the biggest such collapse since the failure of Sydney’s Global College last year.
Victorian Registration and Qualifications Authority director Lynn Glover said yesterday that MIC students – mostly from India and Nepal – would be able to transfer to another provider “following the business failure of the college and the cancellation of its education licence”.
Industry observers said last night that they believed the college’s collapse was likely to have been driven by the joint federal and state government rapid audit program of high-risk colleges. When asked if MIC was one of 18 colleges subject to rapid audit, Ms Glover refused to comment. Read more…

1974 will start their tour from city of Sydney which will take place at Gaelic club, surry hillson Saturday 4th of October followed by East Brunswick club, Melbourne on Sunday 12th of October while the venue for Brisbane hasn’t been fixed yet. Rock yatra will start in Sydney at 9:00 pm whereas in Melbourne it will start at 7:30 pm.

Australia thrashed India in Twenty20 match by nine wickets win played in melbourne infront of 84,041 home crowds . Indian couldn’t play like the world champions and were all out for 74 runs which is the second lowest run in T20 history. The lowest total in Twenty20 history is 73 made by Kenya.
The crowd of 84,041 had expected an exciting match between the Twenty20 champions and australia but champions couldnot showup in the match against the strong australian pace attack and Australia won the Twenty20match by nine wickets and India lost miserably. Read more…
The don of world cricket Australia continued its dominancy in world cricket with continuous 15 test wins in test matches .its recent matches with India was supposed to be challenging but Indian team couldn’t come up to the expectation and lost 1st test match very miserably.
